good cookie recipes, anyone?

i am out searching the world (not literally) looking for the best cookie recipes. any help would be great. i have tons of GOOD, OK and AVERAGE cookie recipes but i ahev n ot found the best. if you have any that have been passed down generations and generations from your grandmothers and your grandmothers grandmother that you would like to share with me that would be wonderful. i also want odd and absurd cookie recipes that taste good though. please if you have any email me at 4everbeatitude@gmail.com also like when i say "odd" i mean like i just made brownie cookies that kind of weird, not like throw a whole bunch of stuff into a bowl mix it together and put it in the oven kind of weird. (believe me it doesn't work out very well. just kidding.)

Girls camp

so this was my first year of girls camp and also the first year since they changed the name from girls camp to young womens camp. let me just tell you one thing. IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE IN AIR CONDITIONING. i was SO hot all the time at girls camp. so here are some details. the camp was on a hill and the bathrooms are at the bottom of the hill so you have to walk all the way down the hill which is especialy hard since you REALLY need to pee and then back up the hill. anyway at first you know you would have to travel with a buddy but since there were sightings of rabid fox' we had to then travel in threes and at least one of the three had to have been carrying a stick. (i personally never saw a rabid anything but it is always good to be cautious). also when the YCLS explained that there are rabid creatures around here they explained it in the form of a song. it goes like this:

rabid fox.... do do do do do do do do do rabid fox do do do do do rabbit fox do do do do do do do rabbit fox

then

it goes on and on until the "group of three" kills the rabid fox so that there are "no more rabies". it is really funny especially when the YCLs sing it.

we did lots and lots of fun stuff. we made our own food and if we wanted to wash our hands but we didnt feel like going all the way down the hill and back up again we had a copper pump that you could wash your hands in. there is a part that looks like a mini water fountain and i didnt drink out of it but my friends did and they said it tasted like pennies. wow delish. oh also the stupid thing was REALLY old and rusty and when you pumped it you have to pump it like 50 times before any type of water came out and by then you are already tired and you are thinking am i done already?. overall i am saying the pump feels like it is broken.

anyway i had a GREAT time even though it was so hot. i made lots of new friends and i have changed my aditude about things because of girls camp.

GRANDMA!!:)

grandma is here!! she is coming from California so it is a long way. she got here on Wednesday and is staying here for 3 WHOLE WEEKS!! while she is here we are going to myrtle beach in South Carolina. it is going to take about 7 house to get there and i hope my brother and sisters are unusually happy that day so that they will cooperate. anyway, what a fun time we will have! at myrtle beach the hotel place we are staying in is RIGHT next to the beach so you can walk out to it after you swim in either the 2 inside pools or the 3 outside pools.(they also have a spray area that has a giant mushroom that sprays out water, a lazy river, and a hot tub or two) it is soooooo AWESOME!
